Quarles & Brady LLP - Madison

Quarles & Brady LLP intended to build "the office of choice” by anticipating client and workforce future needs. Real estate options were analyzed and QB decided to lease the top two floors of 33 East Main, a cutting edge building located on a prime corner of the square in Madison (7,500 SF on the 7th floor was added shortly after). This strategic decision positioned QB to leverage location as well as design. Driven by their rapidly expanding high-tech and bio-tech practice areas, QB challenged the design team to create ‘the’ definitive work place that addressed client service and work process. To that end, the design team orchestrated a partnership with Steelcase (QB’s client and a leading furniture manufacturer) and also a partnership with Findorff, the contractor, to control costs upfront while design was in process. In both cases, furniture and tenant build-out solutions; consideration was given to environmentally friendly outcomes.
