PAT ALGIERS SPEAKS ABOUT SUCCESS OF SHOREWOOD BID  IN SHOREWOOD TODAY

"One defining quality of a popular and prosperous community is having an array of vital local businesses. While Shorewood wasn’t always known as a destination for unique shopping and dining options, today its business district offers a wide selection of restaurants, shops and services to draw residents and visitors. That transformation didn’t happen by accident, says Pat Algiers, a former longtime member of the Shorewood Business Improvement District’s board. It happened through careful planning by the BID board, which has been actively seeking out and wooing unusual businesses to the community through a combination of grants, outreach and skillful marketing." QUARLES NAPLES OFFICE FEATURED IN GULFSHORE BUSINESS

Quarles & Brady’s recent rebranding as Quarles provided a finishing touch for the law firm’s Naples office, which has been transformed from a traditional, darker wood-paneled look into a contemporary, brighter design that better fits the firm’s nationwide clients.

Quarles engaged lawyers, staff and clients for input, which was provided to interior designer Pat Algiers, of Milwaukee-based Chemistry in Place. She’d redesigned the office before, as well as the 130-year-old firm’s other 11 offices nationwide.

ASID ICON

ASID ICON The Picasso Museum mesmerized me and held me captive, feeling the emotion Picasso evoked in his body of work. The museum shows Picasso's work chronologically, illustrating the impact that the artist's relationships had on his work. I am reminded that as designers, we also create memorable life-long experiences through the spaces we design.

The museum helped me formulate my philosophy that good design comes by knowing who my clients are. I strive to show their unique qualities through design, creating an environment where synergy happens.
